  1. Best ghost story ever made. By far the best scary movie I have seen, and I like scary movies. I saw this movie in a theater in 1980. It actually, literally, made the hair stand up on the back of my head. I was an Army captain then, and I could actually feel the hair on the rear of my scalp poofed out. That had never happened before, and nothing else has done it since. Later in the movie it happened again, and I asked my girlfriend sitting next to me to confirm it. She was amazed.   2. Good ole “edge of your chair” spooky story I originally purchased this movie from the Seattle Museum of History and Industry because I love a good spooky movie and it was filmed in my home city. I had no idea the scare factor would be as good as it is.
