  1. Renee “lives” as Judy… I’ll go out on a short limb here and say I’m pretty sure Renee Zellweger will at least be nominated for an Oscar for her lead role of Judy Garland, In “Judy”. I saw the movie tonight on opening day and Zellweger’s performance – singing and acting – is excellent.   3. Over the rainbow and under the bridge This movie is a biographical sketch of Judy Garland’s beginning and last professional years. She was very talented but also led a very troubled life. She ends up doing concerts in London half plastered and her saintly care takers have to coax her on stage with varying degrees of success.
