  2. BBC House of Cards far superior, classy Why has no one made the comparison between the US version and the BBC version? They have the same story arc. I had expected season three to be the last since the BBC wisely ended theirs with an unexpected climax. Spacey has made no mention of the “other” series anywhere, which I found odd.   3. Bingeable and engaging but too pleased with itself at times (spoilers) came into House of Cards rather late in the game. It was just a mere two weeks prior to season 2 and I was in bed with my ipad, sick as a dog. There was nothing else on Netflix that piqued my interest, so I decided that I would check out some of their original programming, and House of Cards was my pick mostly because of Kevin Spacey.
