  2. Club him like a baby seal Will Farrell plays Holmes like a bumbling fool with moments of genius that never works. He has rock star status. Much of the film is predictable slapstick. It spoofs the Robert Downey Jr. version, but not too well.   3. Amusing We thoroughly enjoyed the movie. There is *no* way that it deserves to be eviscerated as it is by so many reviewers. It must be a mob think mentality or pro-Trump presidency crowd because there are a small number of anti-Trump jokes.Will Ferrell and John C.
