  1. Why does everyone hate this so much? I almost didn’t see this because of the terrible reviews it got by both critics and reviewers but luckily I did because it was amazing. I don’t understand why people rated this so low, is it because wolverine wasn’t in it? Is it because they compared it to the other X-men movies or even the comics and it didn’t meet their expectations?   3. Very disappointing release for what is supposed to be the last X-Men movie of this run X-Men Dark Phoenix was a disappointing release.First, the story. Things start in 1975 when a very young Jean Grey becomes frustrated and releases her powers which leads to a car accident and the death of her mother. Charles Xavier ends up at the hospital telling her that her parents died and that he could offer her a new home where she could be special with her powers and be safe.
