This coming from a guy whose coming-of-age was decades ago. For starters, the movie will pad the careers of first time director Olivia Wilde and her 2 headliners, Kaitlyn Dever and Beanie Feldstein.   3. Olivia Wilde impresses with her delightful directorial debut Booksmart (2019). Her style is sleek, fast, and tender. Wilde engages you with interesting complex characters dealing with the night before high school graduation as well as a brewing lesbian romance. She understands the anxiety and adrenaline of these kids breathing realistic life into each shot of her sweet movie. I eagerly anticipate Olivia Wilde’s next directing project.I must mention Booksmart’s outstanding main cast…
